OHOP - Orlando House of Prayer
Carlos and Emily Sarmiento are the Founders and Executive Directors of the Orlando House of Prayer - OHOP.
In 1995, after serving under the leadership of Pastor Benny Hinn, Carlos launched out on his own by starting Reviving This Generation Ministries (RTG). RTG was a revivalistic missions-focused ministry with numerous open doors throughout the US, Canada, the Caribbean Islands, South America and Russia. Thousands were miraculously healed, delivered and saved as Carlos traveled full-time from 1995-2000. In the fall of 1999, the Lord began to place on their hearts that the time had come for the two of them to launch into a different phase of ministry. After much prayer and spiritual counsel, they started a church on the west side of Orlando in Ocoee, Florida.
Living Waters Church (LWC) was birthed on Easter morning of April 2000. The church experienced rapid growth, touching many lives and impacting the community. LWC was only the beginning as the Lord was about to encounter Carlos in a way that would forever change the focus and emphasis of his ministry. As a result of a heavenly encounter that Pastor Carlos had on May 8th, 2005, the Orlando House of Prayer was founded.
Carlos and Emily envisioned a place where 24/7 intercessory prayer and worship would continue night and day, non-stop until the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
They believe their mandate includes a House of Prayer that has continual ministry alongside the continual prayer that is being offered: 24/7 evangelism, 24/7 prayer for the sick, 24/7 prophetic ministry for those who are crying out for deliverance and salvation.
The Sarmiento's have 5 children, all of whom are serving the end-time prayer ministry. Jordan is a student and staff member at the International House of Prayer Kansas City's (IHOP-KC) Forerunner School of Ministry and also plays keyboard in their 24/7 prayer room. Alexia is on staff at IHOP-KC and is married to Matt Gilman who is a worship leader and also on staff at IHOP-KC. Taylor is serving at IHOP-KC. Landon and Sierra both serve in the prayer room at OHOP.

We are blessed to have an amazing team of Intercessory Missionaries. We have about 150 staff members here on the base throughout the week. These pictures are some of our full-timers. Being an Intercessory Missionary is their full time job. They are on the base at least 40 hours a week - 20 hours in the prayer room and 20 hours of service/administration. Israel Mandate Conference
July 16 - 18, 2010
Join us for our Israel Mandate Conference with special guest speaker Jim Maher, who is the Director of the Israel Mandate at IHOP-KC and special guest worship leader Marcus Meier, also from IHOP-KC.
Jim will be teaching on Israel in the End Times. He will also be teaching and mobilizing intercessors in the Body of Christ here in the state of Florida to pray for God's purpose in Israel and partnering with Messianic Jews for the salvation of the Jewish people.
The Orlando House of Prayer is committed to seeing the nation of Israel walking in their full destiny at the end of the age. Our primary role is to pray for and partner with Messianic Jews who are living in Israel. The operation and visitation of the spirit in Israel is a vital part of releasing the great end-time harvest among the nations (Ezek. 36:23–36). However, this full release will only come as a result of a body of believers who are committed to a life of night and day prayer, who are living a fasted lifestyle. Our hope is to mobilize intercessors in the Church worldwide to help establish houses of prayer for Israel.
Jim Maher has authored several books, is a conference speaker, and a worship leader. Jim currently serves on the senior leadership team of the International House of Prayer Kansas City, MO. Jim has great zeal to see an empowered church walking in an intimate relationship with Jesus.

Forerunner Teen Intensive
July 30 - August 14, 2010
Forerunner Teen Intensive is a summer equipping internship for 13-20 year olds. Teens spend 2 weeks learning major Biblical teachings and principles equipping them to dive deep into understanding and knowing the heart of the Lord.
Participants will be learn about and participate in the Harp and Bowl prayer model. They will also be involved in Bound4Life – silent prayer sieges for the unborn and other similar outreaches, small group discussions, and deep-rooted teachings in their classes. Some subjects the students will be taught will be:“The Sermon on The Mount Lifestyle”, “Intimacy”, "Intercession", “Excellencies of Christ”, “End Times”, "Purity Covenant", "How to Hear the Voice of God" and much more!
Carlos Sarmiento, OHOP’s Senior Pastor & Director and George Sotolongo, OHOP’s Youth and Young adult Pastor will be teaching and ministering as well as other OHOP leaders and staff. This Year we will start out our Intensive with a 2 day Youth Encounter that is geared to healing and deliverance from all kinds of hurts and bondages. This will take place as PART of the F.T.I Experience and teachings as well. This year will be dynamic!
F.T.I is NOT a "Typical Camp". This is an intensive for 2 weeks to FULLY prepare and equip the teens with SOUND BIBLICAL DOCTRINE & TEACHING to prepare them for these last days we are living in. It is a radical, intense-paced 2 weeks that will totally charge and challenge the teens that are tired of "fun & games" and who want a REAL experience with God, deeply rooted in their hearts and minds!
We want to see young people set ablaze with a burning passion for Jesus. Students will be immersed in the Prayer Room where they will encounter God’s presence for themselves and develop a discipline for daily devotions and prayer to be applied in their lives.
The Young people that come will experience our radical youth and young adult services on Friday nights. These are explosive services where hundreds of youth and young adults experience the power of God and the Passion of God in their lives.
We are excited for all that the Lord is stirring in our city, our region and our nation!
The cost is: $300 which includes Housing in host homes during the time they are here, 3 meals a day, and all classes and materials.
Come and be equipped for Spiritual battle and total victory to walk out your life in the Awesome Truths of The Word of God!
Deadline for registration & Payment is: JULY 23, 2010 (One week before the start of F.T.I). All payments can be paid through online registration at www.remnantgeneration.org or by Money Order or Check.
