Lisa’s anointing to teach has been evident since her childhood days. The strong, prophetic nature of her anointing gives any reader insight into the heart of God. Her ability to reach the reader at the level they are at and take them to a higher level is truly a gift from God! Lisa writes in such a way that captures the reader's attention while at the same time imparting deep revelation. Exhilarating; inspiring; enlightening! That describes Lisa's teachings and writings!

Lisa’s first book, “Find Me, God’s Heart Cry To His Children” was just recently published. In it Lisa writes that “God earnestly desires connection with His children, if only they knew how.”  This inspiring story tells how God taught Lisa how to really connect with Him by disrupting her prayer-life and training her to listen and connect with Him in a deeper way than she ever knew possible.  Directly from the heart of God comes His compelling cry: “Tell My people to FIND ME!"

Below is a sampling of Lisa’s writing.

"Intimacy with God" is a term that is thrown around a lot these days.  But do you know what it is?  And, better yet, do you know how to have it?  Intimacy means nothing more than being close to God by knowing what’s in His heart, and allowing Him to freely know what’s in yours.

You might ask, “Doesn’t God already know what’s in my heart?”  I believe He does.  But what’s important is that you are honest with yourself and genuine when telling God what’s in your heart.

People put on all kinds of masks with God, trying to be what they think He wants them to be, when the truth is, He loved us before we ever tried to please Him.

Not that we shouldn’t try to please God, but we must trust in His love before we ever try to please Him.  That’s called FAITH.  And without faith, it is impossible to please God.

When we trust in God's love, we feel free to approach Him just as we are.  If we're angry, we can tell Him (He already knows anyway).  If we're happy, we can express it.  If we're afraid, well, how do we expect Him to help us unless we are honest with Him?

Perhaps the best part of all is that God will share His heart honestly with you, too, if you will use the ears of your heart and listen.  He is there, near to each one of us.

To learn how to find Him, consider reading Lisa’s book: Find Me, God's Heart Cry To His Children.

Forward to Find Me

Several years ago I received a commission from God.

Now you can imagine that if you believe you received a commission from God, you feel quite an obligation to carry out that commission.

The completion of this book is a big step toward that objective; I pray that it serves that purpose!

You will see some words which refer to God and the things that belong to Him unfashionably capitalized.  This represents my belief that the things of God deserve honor and distinction.

You will notice that I have written this in the format of telling you what I have experienced and what I believe.  This is because I don’t believe I should tell you how to pray, or that there is a right way to pray.  Only to give witness to what God has done in my life, and allow you the opportunity to weigh what I have said.

Finally, this book is not for the faint of heart, nor the spiritually immature.  It is not for those who don’t know God or who are ignorant of His Word.  It is meat for those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.  And, yet, even the newest of Christians need to know these things.

God bless you as you prayerfully consider the things I have experienced.

Find Me - Chapter 1

Picture
And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us…  Acts 17:26, 27 (NKJV)

I became aware that God was looking for me many years ago when I was asked to lead a prayer group.

“Looking for you?,” you might ask, “Doesn’t God know where you are?”

Well, didn’t God know where Adam was when He called to him and said, “Adam, where are you?”

I can hear the anguish in my Father’s voice as he calls for his creation – made in His image - and says, “Adam, where are you?”

Keep in mind, this is God speaking!  God!  Who knows all things and is in all places; Who sees everything.  And yet He cries: “Adam, where are you?”

Something had happened to change the way God communed with his creation.  He could no longer be in the presence of man.

What does it mean to be in someone’s presence?

Have you ever known or read the stories of kids who are born with a deficient immune system and have to live in a bubble?  Can you imagine the anguish of their parents, who can only visit with and touch their child through a barrier?  Or a parent whose son or daughter has gone to jail and they can only visit through the Plexiglas?  Or a parent whose beloved child has gone to war and they can only visit by letter, phone, or at best, video camera.  All of these parents know in general where there child is.  They can see them; they can talk to them.  But they cannot truly be in their presence!  And the distance, as small as it seems, can be felt achingly in the parent’s heart!

I propose to you that God knew precisely where Adam was.  But He could no longer “find him”.  The separation that now existed between God and his creation was tangible, and caused Him to cry in distress: “Adam, where are you?”

Then to the woman: “What is this you have done?”

Can you feel the heartache of God?  Can you understand that God responds to them not out of anger, but out of pure anguish of heart?

In order that they would not remain forever in that separated state of being, God blocked access to the Tree of Life and put into motion a divine plan in which He would get his children back!

That goal has now been achieved, the plan executed.  And God gave me a commission one day when He said to me:

“Tell My people to find me.

Earnestly desiring intimate connection with His children, God disrupted one woman’s prayer-life and taught her how to hear from and connect with Him.  Then He gave her an urgent commission.  Directly from the heart of God comes His compelling cry:  Tell My People to FIND ME!
